Manuel (Mal) Varitimos practised as a barrister, at the private bar, for over 35 years. Mal practised in most areas of law. Prior to admission as a barrister he practised as a solicitor. His practice was internationally orientated.
Mal acquired considerable experience and expertise in a diverse range of matters throughout the Asia-Pacific Region. He was retained to advise in relation to matters in eight countries in the Asia-Pacific Region and has appeared in several of these countries, including for Prime Ministers, Deputy Prime Ministers and multinational corporations. Mal also appeared for individuals and corporations aggrieved by ministerial and other decisions.
